Home Based Services (HBS):

In-Home Based Services are intensive, short-term, home based intervention services offered to families at-risk, with children under age 18, however the children must be at NO RISK for removal. Services develop, support, and empower the family unit by teaching problem-solving skills, assisting parents in becoming advocates for themselves, and teaching them how to utilize community resources. These services occur in the home and focus treatment plans to address the family’s practical and material difficulties. The services teach the family how to live together safely while addressing their immediate needs. HBS Specialist works with five (5) families at a time for eight (8) weeks, giving each family an average of three (3) to five (5) hours per week of services. The HBS Specialist work a flexible schedule available seven (7) days a week but are NOT on call.

Referral Process:

Referrals may be received from DCBS, community agencies, schools, mental health and self referrals. The DCBS referrals must be approved by the Referral and Selection person in the DCBS District office in your area. All the other referrals may be faxed to the Hopkinsville or Mayfield office for Supervisor approval.

Regional Network:

The Regional Network plans the budget for the use of CCC network funds to increase community awareness and involvement in the prevention of abuse and neglect of children. Each Regional Network has the task of engaging community leaders, local, human services program providers, and parent who receive the services or are involved in the community.
Your involvement as a volunteer in the regional network in your community is welcomed since all community members are valued and have an important role in CCC. One of the unique qualities of the CCC is the recommendation of parental involvement which engages parents to work side by side with professionals. The purpose is to build parents confidence and ability to advocate for themselves and their families, and to provide an open environment in which each participant has a voice.

If you are interested in becoming involved in CCC please feel free to contact us:
